British Aerospace BAe-146-300
The British Aerospace BAe 146-300 is the largest and longest version of the four-engine 'Whisperjet' family, stretched for extra passenger capacity over the -100 and -200. Like its siblings, its four smaller engines make it exceptionally quiet, letting airlines fly it into noise-sensitive airports closed to louder jets. Its short-field performance meant it could also serve smaller regional airports that larger jets couldn't reach. It was later developed further into the re-engined Avro RJ100.
