Boeing 777-300
The Boeing 777-300 is a stretched version of the original 777, extending the fuselage to carry significantly more passengers on the same wing and engines. Its extra length made it, at the time, the longest airliner in the world, only later surpassed by the Airbus A340-600. Without the longer range of the later -300ER model, it was mainly used on shorter, high-capacity routes rather than ultra-long-haul flights. It paved the way for the far more widely ordered 777-300ER.
