Airbus A-330-900
The Airbus A330-900 is the larger of the two 'A330neo' variants, pairing the long-serving A330 airframe with new engines and aerodynamic refinements borrowed from the A350 program. The upgrade cuts fuel burn substantially compared with the original A330-300 while keeping the same familiar cabin and cockpit, letting airlines retrain existing A330 crews quickly. Its curved wingtip devices, distinct from the older A330's blended winglets, are one of the easiest ways to spot it from the ground. It has become the more successful of the two A330neo variants by a wide margin.
