Gulfstream Aerospace Gulfstream G280

The Gulfstream G280 is a super-midsize business jet, also developed with Israel Aerospace Industries, offering notably longer range and a more advanced wing than the smaller G150 in Gulfstream's lineup. It's been recognised for having some of the best runway performance in its class, able to take off and land from shorter airstrips than many rivals of similar size. Its cabin, while not as large as Gulfstream's flagship G650, still offers a stand-up-height interior for passenger comfort. It remains one of Gulfstream's core mid-size offerings alongside its larger, longer-range siblings.

In CatchFlights

In CatchFlights the Gulfstream Aerospace Gulfstream G280 starts as a Uncommon catch. The tier is an editorial judgement of how special a sighting of this type is. The more often you catch it, the closer it moves to Common for you.

A catch counts for the manufacturer Gulfstream Aerospace, the Gulfstream G280 family and the model in your collection, and the daily Type Rating quiz asks about the types of each family.

Catch it yourself.CatchFlights shows the aircraft flying near you on a radar, so a type like this one is only a catch away when it passes overhead. Explore CatchFlights.
