Airbus A-220-300
The Airbus A220 began life as the Bombardier CSeries before Airbus took a majority stake and renamed it in 2018. It was designed from the outset with a clean-sheet composite wing and new engines, giving it notably lower fuel burn than older aircraft of a similar size. Seating around 130 to 160 passengers, it fills the gap between large regional jets and the smallest Airbus and Boeing narrow-bodies. Its five-abreast cabin and wide seats are unusually roomy for an aircraft of its size.
