Pzl-Okecie PZL-106AT Turbo Kruk
The PZL-106AT Turbo Kruk is the turboprop-powered evolution of Poland's piston Kruk crop-duster, fitted with a Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-34AG replacing the original radial engine. First flown in 1981, the swap gave operators more power and better hot-and-high performance for large-scale agricultural spraying, at the cost of higher operating complexity than its simpler piston sibling. It kept the Kruk family's signature safety layout, with the chemical hopper mounted ahead of a raised pilot's seat to protect against hopper-crush injuries in a hard landing. It remains one of the few Eastern Bloc-designed turboprop agricultural aircraft still flying today.
