Pilatus PC-24

The Pilatus PC-24 is a light-to-midsize business jet nicknamed the 'Super Versatile Jet' for its ability to operate from short, unpaved runways that most business jets can't use, a capability drawn directly from Pilatus's turboprop background. Its rear cargo door, unusual for a jet, lets operators load bulky freight or medical equipment alongside or instead of passenger seats. That combination of rough-field capability and cargo flexibility has made it popular with air ambulance operators and remote-region charter services. It represents Pilatus's first entry into business jets after decades of building single-engine turboprops.

In CatchFlights

In CatchFlights the Pilatus PC-24 starts as a Uncommon catch. The tier is an editorial judgement of how special a sighting of this type is. The more often you catch it, the closer it moves to Common for you.

A catch counts for the manufacturer Pilatus, the PC-24 family and the model in your collection, and the daily Type Rating quiz asks about the types of each family.

Catch it yourself.CatchFlights shows the aircraft flying near you on a radar, so a type like this one is only a catch away when it passes overhead. Explore CatchFlights.
