Pilatus PC-12

The Pilatus PC-12 is a single-engine turboprop known for its unusually large cabin, close in size to some small business jets despite having only one engine. That combination of jet-like cabin comfort with the lower operating costs of a single turboprop has made it hugely popular for both corporate transport and medical evacuation flights. Its short-field capability lets it reach smaller regional airports that most business jets can't use. It has become one of the best-selling turbine business aircraft of any kind, single- or twin-engine, in aviation history.

In CatchFlights

In CatchFlights the Pilatus PC-12 starts as a Uncommon catch. The tier is an editorial judgement of how special a sighting of this type is. The more often you catch it, the closer it moves to Common for you.

A catch counts for the manufacturer Pilatus, the PC-12 family and the model in your collection, and the daily Type Rating quiz asks about the types of each family.

Catch it yourself.CatchFlights shows the aircraft flying near you on a radar, so a type like this one is only a catch away when it passes overhead. Explore CatchFlights.
