Ilyushin Il-114

The Ilyushin Il-114 is a Russian regional turboprop designed for routes with rough or lightly equipped runways. Its high wing keeps the engines and propellers farther from debris, while its pressurised cabin is sized for around 60 passengers. The original 1990s programme produced only a small number before a later effort attempted to revive it with Russian-built systems. Its long, interrupted development has kept it far less common than comparable ATR and Dash 8 aircraft.

In CatchFlights

In CatchFlights the Ilyushin Il-114 starts as a Legendary catch. The tier is an editorial judgement of how special a sighting of this type is. The more often you catch it, the closer it moves to Common for you. The first catch of a legendary type pays a bonus of its own.

A catch counts for the manufacturer Ilyushin, the Il-114 family and the model in your collection, and the daily Type Rating quiz asks about the types of each family.

Catch it yourself.CatchFlights shows the aircraft flying near you on a radar, so a type like this one is only a catch away when it passes overhead. Explore CatchFlights.
