Embraer E190-E2

The Embraer E190-E2 is the second-generation update of the original E190, fitted with new geared-turbofan engines, a redesigned wing, and a taller, more efficient tail. Embraer designed the wing structurally strong enough from the outset to support the larger E195-E2's extra length without a costly separate redesign. Its lower fuel burn and reduced noise made it an attractive replacement for older E190s and rival regional jets alike. It represents Embraer's continued push to keep the E-Jet family competitive against Airbus's smaller A220 in the same size class.
