The turbine Cirrus VK-30 was an experimental development of the piston VK-30 homebuilt, using turboprop power to explore much higher performance. It retained the base design’s canard layout and rear pusher propeller, a configuration rare among turbine aircraft. Only individual experimental conversions and prototypes were associated with the concept, not a factory production line. Its scarcity reflects both the small VK-30 kit fleet and the complexity of fitting turbine power to a personal aircraft.
