Cirrus SR-22T
The Cirrus SR22T adds a turbocharged engine to the best-selling SR22, maintaining engine power at higher altitudes where the normally aspirated version starts losing performance. Like every Cirrus single, it's built around a whole-airframe parachute system that can lower the entire aircraft safely to the ground in a genuine emergency, a feature that helped make Cirrus the sales leader in piston singles. Its turbocharged engine lets owner-pilots climb over weather and terrain the standard SR22 would have to fly around. It remains one of the most popular high-performance piston singles for serious cross-country travel.
