Cessna F406 Caravan 2
The Cessna F406 Caravan II combines the fuselage and systems of the Cessna 404 Titan with the wing and twin turboprop engines of the Cessna Caravan, built under licence in France for European certification. Its turboprop engines give it better high-altitude and hot-weather performance than the piston-engine 404 it's loosely based on. Coast guard and border-patrol agencies have adopted surveillance versions fitted with radar and camera turrets for maritime patrol duties. It remains a common utility and surveillance aircraft across Europe, where its French production and certification made it a natural regional choice.
