Aerotechnik L-13S Vivat
The Aerotechnik (LET) L-13SE Vivat is a two-seat, self-launching motor glider built in the Czech Republic, sharing wing heritage with the classic L-13 Blanik trainer while adding a new fuselage and a retractable nose-mounted engine and propeller. A pilot can take off and climb to soaring altitude under its own power, then fold the propeller away and glide silently, avoiding the need for a tow plane or winch launch. That independence makes it popular with smaller gliding clubs that cannot justify running separate towing operations, letting them train pilots and fly cross-country tasks with a single aircraft.
