Zenair CH-750 Stol

The Zenith CH 750 STOL is the short-field specialist of Zenith's two-model light-sport line, using a high wing, fixed leading-edge slats, and full-span flaperons that combine flap and aileron function to generate lift at very low speeds. Where its low-wing CH 650 Zodiac sibling is built for cruising efficiency, the CH 750 trades cruise speed for the ability to take off and land in only a few hundred feet, making it a favourite among backcountry and bush pilots. An all-flying rudder and all-metal riveted construction keep it light and simple to build from a kit, and it is now a common sight at short-field STOL competition events.

In CatchFlights

In CatchFlights the Zenair CH-750 Stol starts as a Uncommon catch. The tier is an editorial judgement of how special a sighting of this type is. The more often you catch it, the closer it moves to Common for you.

A catch counts for the manufacturer Zenair, the CH-750 Stol family and the model in your collection, and the daily Type Rating quiz asks about the types of each family.

Catch it yourself.CatchFlights shows the aircraft flying near you on a radar, so a type like this one is only a catch away when it passes overhead. Explore CatchFlights.
