Tupolev Tu-204
The Tupolev Tu-204 is a Russian twin-engine narrow-body airliner developed in the late Soviet era as a modern replacement for the older Tu-154, broadly comparable in size and role to the Boeing 757. It was one of the first Soviet-designed airliners built with a modern two-crew glass cockpit and Western-style aerodynamics, including a supercritical wing for better fuel efficiency. Various sub-variants use either Russian Aviadvigatel or, on export models, Rolls-Royce engines. It never achieved major sales outside Russia and allied states, remaining a comparatively rare sight against the dominant Airbus and Boeing narrow-bodies elsewhere.
