Robinson R-66
The Robinson R66 is Robinson Helicopter's first turbine-powered model, built as a larger, more capable stablemate to the company's best-selling piston-engine R44. Its turbine engine gives it more power and altitude performance than the R44, while remaining significantly cheaper to buy and operate than many rival turbine helicopters. It's used for everything from personal transport and flight training to agricultural and utility work. Its combination of turbine reliability and Robinson's traditionally lower price point has made it popular with operators moving up from piston helicopters.
