Robin R-2112 Alpha
The Robin R-2112 Alpha is a French two-seat trainer from the same family of wooden-and-composite light aircraft as the HR200. Its low wing, wide canopy, and forgiving handling were aimed directly at flight schools. Unlike the better-known DR series, the Alpha has a more conventional straight-wing appearance and side-by-side seating. It remains mostly a European club aircraft, so it is uncommon away from French training fleets.
Did you know?
The Robin Alpha trades the company's signature cranked Jodel-style wing for a conventional straight wing, setting it apart from the related DR series.
