Remos GX

The REMOS GX is a German two-seat light sport aircraft that succeeded the G-3 Mirage in 2008, built by REMOS of Pasewalk around a full carbon-fibre monocoque structure rather than the earlier model's braced composite airframe. Its wing uses a different airfoil than the G-3's, giving crisper roll response and steadier handling in turbulence, and it can be fitted with a ballistic parachute recovery system for the whole airframe. Sold both as a builder's kit and complete and ready to fly, it targeted flight schools and private owners wanting modern glass-cockpit avionics in a light, efficient trainer. Production ended when Stemme acquired REMOS in 2023.

In CatchFlights

In CatchFlights the Remos GX starts as a Uncommon catch. The tier is an editorial judgement of how special a sighting of this type is. The more often you catch it, the closer it moves to Common for you.

A catch counts for the manufacturer Remos, the GX family and the model in your collection, and the daily Type Rating quiz asks about the types of each family.

Catch it yourself.CatchFlights shows the aircraft flying near you on a radar, so a type like this one is only a catch away when it passes overhead. Explore CatchFlights.
