Rans S-6 Coyote 2

The RANS S-6 Coyote II is a steel-tube, fabric-covered, high-wing two-seater from Kansas-based RANS Inc., sold as a kit for amateur builders since the 1980s and available with either tailwheel or tricycle landing gear. It grew out of the smaller single-seat S-4 Coyote, and its own design was stretched with a longer wing in 1990 to become the still-current S-6ES model. Powered typically by a Rotax 912 engine, it has become one of the best-selling light kit aircraft in the United States, with more than 1,500 examples completed. Its simple tube-and-fabric construction keeps build cost and maintenance lower than all-metal or composite kit designs.
