Piper PA-46-350P M350
The Piper Malibu, sold today as the M350, is a pressurised single-engine piston aircraft that lets owner-pilots cruise above much of the weather other piston singles must fly around or through. Its pressurisation was a rare feature for a piston single when introduced, previously found mostly on twins or turboprops well beyond most private owners' budgets. Piper also offers a turboprop-converted variant, the Meridian/M500/M600 lineage, built on the same basic pressurised fuselage. It remains a popular choice for pilots who want jet-like cruising altitude without the fuel burn or complexity of a turboprop or jet.
