Piper PA-31T1-500 Cheyenne 1
The Piper Cheyenne I is a pressurised twin-turboprop executive aircraft developed from the Navajo family. Its two PT6 engines provided much better climb and cruise performance than piston twins while retaining a practical cabin. The Cheyenne line became a well-known bridge between light twins and business jets.

Wingtip fuel tanks, standard on the original Cheyenne, became optional equipment on the entry-level Cheyenne I to help hold down its price.
