Piper J-4 Cub Coupe
The Piper J-4 Cub Coupe was a side-by-side version of the Cub, created for pilots who wanted to fly alongside a passenger rather than in tandem. Its small cabin and fabric-covered structure kept costs low, but the layout was less popular than the later J-3. It is now a rare pre-war Piper.

Did you know?
Unlike the tandem-seat Cub family, the J-4 Cub Coupe seated pilot and passenger side by side, a rare Piper layout of its era.
