Lockheed C-5 Super Galaxy
The Lockheed C-5 Galaxy is one of the largest military aircraft in the world, able to carry battle tanks, helicopters, and other oversized cargo that most transports cannot. Both its nose and tail can open, allowing vehicles to be driven straight through the fuselage for fast loading and unloading. Its wingspan and length rival those of the largest commercial airliners, despite being designed decades ago. The C-5M is a modernised version with new engines and avionics, extending the type's service life well into the 21st century.
