Let Aero 45

The Aero 45 was Czechoslovakia's first postwar aircraft design, a four-seat twin-engine light aircraft intended for business and air-taxi use, first flown in 1947. It proved an export success, going to customers from France and Italy to China and the Soviet Union, with all but 80 of the roughly 590 built leaving Czechoslovakia. The improved Aero 45S Super, built by Let Kunovice from 1954, became in 1958 the first Czechoslovak aircraft to cross the Atlantic. Production of the family ran until 1961.

In CatchFlights

In CatchFlights the Let Aero 45 starts as a Very rare catch. The tier is an editorial judgement of how special a sighting of this type is. The more often you catch it, the closer it moves to Common for you.

A catch counts for the manufacturer Let, the Aero 45 family and the model in your collection, and the daily Type Rating quiz asks about the types of each family.

Catch it yourself.CatchFlights shows the aircraft flying near you on a radar, so a type like this one is only a catch away when it passes overhead. Explore CatchFlights.
