Kopter SH-09
The Kopter SH09 was a clean-sheet Swiss single-engine helicopter designed with a composite airframe, large cabin, and a modern glass cockpit. Development began as the Marenco Swisshelicopter project before Leonardo acquired it and renamed it the AW09. Its long certification path and small pre-service fleet make SH09 sightings exceptionally rare.

Did you know?
Its shrouded fenestron-style tail rotor, with unevenly spaced blades for lower noise, is unusual for a helicopter this size.
