Issoire APM-41 Simba
The Issoire APM-41 Simba is a French four-seat, all-carbon-fibre light aircraft from Issoire Aviation, the largest member of a family that also includes the two-seat APM-20 Lionceau and three-seat APM-30 Lion, all sharing a common composite airframe philosophy. The four-seat Simba first flew on 19 May 2009 and debuted at that year's Paris Air Show; the APM-41 variant, launched in 2016, swapped in a fuel-injected Rotax 915iS engine for more power and altitude performance than the original APM-40. Issoire has built the Simba family in small numbers from its Auvergne workshops since 2011, alongside the smaller Lion and Lionceau.
