Hurel-Dubois HD-34
The Hurel-Dubois HD.34 was a French light transport distinguished by extremely high-aspect-ratio wings. These long, slender wings gave excellent low-speed efficiency and inspired later Hurel-Dubois research into fuel-saving transport designs. The aircraft was used for survey, calibration, and utility work rather than mass passenger service. Its wingspan appears startlingly large for its compact fuselage, making the HD.34 one of the easiest obscure transports to identify in photographs.
