Hiller UH-12ET
The Hiller UH-12E was a compact piston helicopter whose simple two-blade rotor and narrow cabin made it a familiar trainer, police aircraft, and agricultural machine in the 1950s and 1960s. Hiller sold military versions to several countries, while civilian operators appreciated its relatively low operating cost. The UH-12 family also introduced many pilots to turbine conversion work through later re-engined variants. Its exposed mechanical simplicity is typical of the first generation of light helicopters.

Its exposed two-blade rotor and simple mechanics mark the UH-12E as an early-generation trainer from before helicopters hid their working parts.
