Guimbal G-2 Cabri
The Guimbal Cabri G2 is a small, two-seat training helicopter notable for its fully shrouded fenestron tail rotor, a safety feature almost unheard of on such a small, affordable helicopter class dominated by exposed tail rotors. Its composite fuselage and energy-absorbing seats and landing gear were designed from the outset with crash safety in mind, unusual attention for a light trainer. Flight schools increasingly favour it over older designs specifically for its safety features and lower vibration levels during long days of training flights. Its French manufacturer builds it in comparatively small numbers, but adoption by training fleets has grown steadily.

Did you know?
Look for the fully shrouded tail rotor — the Cabri G2 is one of the few light trainer helicopters to enclose it for safety.
