Grumman G-159 Gulfstream 1
The Grumman Gulfstream I was the aircraft that created the Gulfstream business-aircraft brand. It was a large, fast turboprop with a low wing and tall T-tail, offering corporate travellers a pressurised cabin long before business jets became common. The US Navy operated it as the C-11, while NASA and several governments used specialised versions. Its success persuaded Grumman to develop the jet-powered Gulfstream II, beginning one of business aviation’s most enduring families.

In CatchFlights the Grumman G-159 Gulfstream 1 starts as a Legendary catch. The tier is an editorial judgement of how special a sighting of this type is. The more often you catch it, the closer it moves to Common for you. The first catch of a legendary type pays a bonus of its own.
