Embraer EMB-390
The Embraer C-390 Millennium (militarised as the KC-390) is a jet-powered military transport, unusual in a category long dominated by turboprop designs like the C-130 Hercules, giving it noticeably higher cruise speed than most rivals of similar size. A dedicated aerial-refuelling tanker version, the KC-390, can refuel other aircraft in flight while still carrying cargo or troops, combining two roles many air forces previously needed separate aircraft to fill. Brazil developed it specifically to replace its aging C-130 fleet with a more modern, faster, jet-powered alternative built domestically. Several export customers, including Portugal, Hungary, and the Netherlands, have since adopted it as a modern medium transport.
