Embraer EMB-120 Brasilia
The Embraer EMB 120 Brasilia is a pressurised regional turboprop that helped establish Embraer as a serious international competitor to established regional-aircraft builders like Saab and de Havilland Canada. Its distinctive T-tail and pressurised cabin let it fly higher and more comfortably than many rival unpressurised regional turboprops of its era. American regional carriers operated large fleets of Brasilias through the 1980s and 1990s, feeding passengers into major US hub airports. Though newer regional jets have since taken over many of its old routes, a number remain in active cargo and regional service today.
