Dyn'aero MCR-R180
The Dyn'Aéro R180 is a side-by-side two-seat kitplane built specifically for competition aerobatics and military-style basic training rather than cross-country touring like its MCR-family relatives. Its wood-and-carbon-fibre airframe carries fixed conventional gear with wheel pants and a full-span-aileron wing that deliberately omits flaps, keeping the structure light and the roll rate sharp. A 180-horsepower Lycoming O-360 gives it the power-to-weight ratio aerobatic flying demands. Sold as plans and as a kit through the early 2010s, Dyn'Aéro had stopped advertising the design by 2017, leaving existing airframes as the type's only representatives.
