Dyn'aero MCR-4
The Dyn'Aéro MCR4S stretches the two-seat MCR01 into a four-seat, carbon-fibre, T-tailed kitplane, first flying on 14 June 2000. Two extra windows light the enlarged rear cabin, with the left one doubling as an emergency exit. Builders can choose between the naturally aspirated 100-horsepower Rotax 912S or the turbocharged 914, the latter giving a cruise speed around 145 knots on a useful load of 400 kilograms. Like its two-seat sibling it is supplied as a homebuilt kit rather than a factory-built aircraft, extending the same lightweight-composite design philosophy to family and cross-country flying rather than pure sport use.
