Dassault Mirage 2000
The Dassault Mirage 2000 is a French single-engine delta-wing fighter, developed as a lighter, more agile complement to earlier swing-wing Mirage designs. Its tailless delta-wing layout, a Dassault signature going back decades, trades some low-speed agility for excellent high-speed performance and a simple, robust structure. It's been exported widely and remains in frontline service with several air forces despite newer fighters like the Rafale having succeeded it in French service. Its clean, elegant lines make it one of the most visually distinctive fighter designs of its era.
