Daher Kodiak 100
The Daher Kodiak 100 is a rugged single-engine turboprop built specifically for short-field bush flying, missionary and humanitarian aid work, and light cargo hauling in remote regions with poor infrastructure. Its oversized tyres, high wing, and STOL-optimised flaps let it operate from rough gravel or grass strips that most turboprop aircraft of its size can't use. It competes directly with the long-established Cessna Caravan in the same rugged-utility niche, offering somewhat better short-field performance. Missionary aviation organisations and remote cargo operators across Africa, Asia, and the Americas have adopted it widely for exactly these demanding conditions.
