Cessna C-34
The Cessna C-34 was a 1930s cabin monoplane from the same family as the Cessna Airmaster. It used a high wing and a radial engine to give private owners enclosed, all-weather travel at a time when many light aircraft still had open cockpits. The C-34’s production was short-lived as Cessna rapidly refined the design into later Airmaster models. Its rarity today is a reminder that Cessna’s early history included many small, quickly evolving types before the familiar post-war trainers.

In CatchFlights
In CatchFlights the Cessna C-34 starts as a Legendary catch. The tier is an editorial judgement of how special a sighting of this type is. The more often you catch it, the closer it moves to Common for you. The first catch of a legendary type pays a bonus of its own.
A catch counts for the manufacturer Cessna, the C-34 family and the model in your collection, and the daily Type Rating quiz asks about the types of each family.
Catch it yourself.CatchFlights shows the aircraft flying near you on a radar, so a type like this one is only a catch away when it passes overhead. Explore CatchFlights.
