Cessna 404 (turbine)
The turbine Cessna 404 Titan is a specialist conversion of Cessna’s large piston twin, replacing its radial-style piston power with turboprops. The standard 404 was built for commuters, cargo, and air ambulance work, and turbine conversions sought better climb and payload performance. Only a small number received such modifications, so they are much rarer than ordinary Titans. Their familiar boxy Cessna cabin disguises a propulsion system more often associated with commuter airliners.
Did you know?
Turbine conversions of the Cessna 404 Titan swap its piston engines for propjets, but only a handful were ever modified this way.
