Boeing MQ-25 Stingray
The Boeing MQ-25 Stingray is the first purpose-built carrier-based unmanned tanker for the US Navy. Its primary role is to refuel fighters at sea, freeing crewed F/A-18s from the tanker mission and extending the carrier air wing’s reach. The tailless aircraft has completed deck handling and aerial-refuelling demonstrations from an aircraft carrier. Because it is still entering service, the MQ-25 is among the rarest operational naval aircraft in the world.

In CatchFlights
In CatchFlights the Boeing MQ-25 Stingray starts as a Legendary catch. The tier is an editorial judgement of how special a sighting of this type is. The more often you catch it, the closer it moves to Common for you. The first catch of a legendary type pays a bonus of its own.
A catch counts for the manufacturer Boeing, the MQ-25 Stingray family and the model in your collection, and the daily Type Rating quiz asks about the types of each family.
Catch it yourself.CatchFlights shows the aircraft flying near you on a radar, so a type like this one is only a catch away when it passes overhead. Explore CatchFlights.
