Bell 525 Relentless
The Bell 525 Relentless is a large light-intermediate twin helicopter with fly-by-wire controls and a digital cockpit, features unusual in civil rotorcraft when it was announced. Its wide cabin is intended for offshore, search-and-rescue, and executive transport missions. The programme suffered a fatal prototype accident in 2016 and underwent a long certification campaign before entering service. Its modern systems and still-small fleet make the 525 a rare new-generation Bell helicopter.
