Bell 505 Jet Ranger X
The Bell 505 Jet Ranger X revives the JetRanger name for a modern, all-new light single-engine helicopter aimed at training, personal, and light utility flying. Its glass cockpit and side-by-side seating trade some of the original JetRanger's classic bubble-canopy look for modern avionics and crashworthy fuel and seat systems. Bell designed it specifically to compete on price and simplicity with rival light singles from Robinson and Airbus. Since entering service in 2017, it has become a common sight at flight schools and among private owners looking for an economical modern helicopter.
