Beech 19 Sport

The Beechcraft Musketeer Sport was a low-wing four-seat trainer and touring aircraft developed as a less expensive alternative to the Bonanza. Its handling was deliberately forgiving, making it popular with flying clubs and private owners rather than speed-focused pilots. The Sport designation covered early two- and four-seat variants of the Musketeer family. Its fixed gear and broad cabin distinguish it from Beechcraft’s more glamorous retractable-gear aircraft.

In CatchFlights

In CatchFlights the Beech 19 Sport starts as a Rare catch. The tier is an editorial judgement of how special a sighting of this type is. The more often you catch it, the closer it moves to Common for you.

A catch counts for the manufacturer Beech, the 19 Sport family and the model in your collection, and the daily Type Rating quiz asks about the types of each family.

Catch it yourself.CatchFlights shows the aircraft flying near you on a radar, so a type like this one is only a catch away when it passes overhead. Explore CatchFlights.
