B & F Technik FK-9

The B&F Technik FK9 is a German high-wing, side-by-side two-seat ultralight that Peter Funk first flew in 1989, then put into production with Dirk Breitkreuz's newly founded B&F Technik the following year. It is offered with long or short wings, and later Mark III models add carbon-fibre wings with an optional folding mechanism for compact storage, alongside a choice of tricycle, taildragger or float landing gear. Powered by Rotax 912 engines ranging from the 80 hp UL to the fuel-injected iS, more than 500 have been built at factories in Germany and Poland and fly on four continents.
